Many things have changed over the course of a few months on this website. By now many of you know that the forums were shut down a few months ago, but you can still chat with other metal bootleg traders by using our Discord or through the Facebook Group!
About The Forum Shut Down
I have a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). You can get a TBI in several different ways including a stroke or some sort of head injury. Traumatic Brain Injury spans several different types of conditions and accidents and can happen in many different circumstances. In my case I’ve had several concussions over the years from playing soccer as a goalkeeper plus I was hit by a truck riding my bike in a crosswalk. All these things together added to the TBI issues I have now.
There seems to be some confusion on the shut down of the forums and why I closed them. I’m not sick as in I’m dying of cancer or something of that nature. My issues stemmed from the TBI. A TBI causes you to have issues remembering shit long & short term and can cause you to be easily overwhelmed. TBI’s can cause more serious issues, but currently these are the things that I’m dealing with myself.
I had gotten really overwhelmed with the forums and most likely overdid some things. This caused me to be depressed and confused. I was not sure what I should do next, so I shut down. This is what can happen with a TBI. So all though its a daily struggle and some days are better than others, I’m not dying or anything of that nature.
About This Site Now
This site now will be used for an metal bootleg article & tutorial reference website. As I have the time I will add new information as well as some of the information that we had on the old forums to the site. Metal Bootlegs will now house articles, tutorials, the trader’s dictionary and I most likely will bring back the covers & setlists eventually. I had thought I would use it for a trade page, but have since decided against that. That being said you can still find my trade lists on the home page of this site.
