FM Broadcast: When a trader has listed an audio bootleg with this source it refers to a show that was aired on an FM radio station & recorded directly from a personal radio receiver or computer. Many trader’s will list this broadcast as a SBD because its usually a flawless recording of the show and the same if not better quality.
What Is The Difference Between A SBD & A FM Broadcast?
A SBD (soundboard) recording is recorded directly at the show from the large mixing desk in the center floor area.
FM is a live broadcast from the radio. Usually it comes with the announcers talking & sometimes with advertisements. You will find that some traders remaster these types of shows to eliminate the announcers comments & ads.
