Metal Bootlegs FAQ

Here is a quick Metal Bootlegs FAQ to answer some possible questions about this site and how I go about getting information.

Question: What is the difference between Metal Bootlegs Setlists & Setlists.fm setlists?

Answer: Setlists.fm will give you a list of the tracks that were played by the artists and is not necessarily the actual bootleg setlist. The actual bootleg setlist may deviate from what was played at the show. Taper’s accidentally hit the off button and miss part of a song, they get bumped in the crowd and it  messes up a track, they may have been late to the show and so on. Shit happens. Sometimes taper’s don’t get the whole show for reasons beyond their control. Setlists.fm is a great resource when you need to confirm a date, venue, setlist or other information.

Question: Why do you add screen shots to the video setlists?

Answer: Sometimes traders get a show that was altered in some way and the file size may be different from the original. In some cases the trader may think that show is a different version of the original, when it actually may not be. If a trader has screen shots to compare the shows they can determine if they already have that version or not.

Question: How often do you add new metal bootleg downloads?

Answer: I’ll add one new show a week if time & space permits me to.

Question: Can I request a show from your list as the weekly download?

Answer: Of course! Please note that I will not upload a RT or NFT show here.

Question: How do I request a show from your list?

Answer: Use the contact form to submit your request. Be sure to include the band name & show information copied & pasted from my website so I know where to find it. *Please note that if I have many requests I will only post one of them.
